About

I consider myself a very lucky person! I live in a place that is warm all year round, and am married to an extremely agreeable and gentle soul who gave me two most wonderful daughters. When I am not sitting in front of the computer, I enjoy the rainforest, the beach, and my tennis club. When it comes to personality, I would say I am an introvert, most of the time…

Currently, I am in the process of completing an honours degree in psychology. Therefore, having a blog is a great idea, because it will enable me to share some insights while refining my research skills at the same time. My aspiration is to write and eventually publish a book. It will be a long process, but I will finish a manuscript one day, bit by bit, step by step. That is my goal!

Some of my ever expanding interests are personal relationships, teenagers, coping with chronic illness, and generally everything related to mental as well as physical health. Many conflicts, internal and external, can be avoided if we understand a bit more about why we feel the way we feel and do the things we do.

I hope my blog will be helpful and interesting…

No, I don’t feel guilty about eating chocolate – unless it’s my partner’s chocolate that I’ve stolen from his bedside cabinet…

I’m interested in psychology, but I doubt if I’ll ever get to study it formally. (no money) However I like reading and there’s so much stuff on the internet.
So you live near a rainforest, is global warming having any visible effect on your forest? Do you ever find yourself worrying about what is happening to the planet and how are your girls going to cope? I do.
The taoists say to eat food when you’re hungry. If one sticks to that rule there should be no guilty feelings – unless you’re doing it in front of a crowd of starving people.
    Take care,
    Lol
